CIVIL ENGINEER - Opportunity for civil engineer at Tahoe City, California. Skills should include 3 to 7 years experience, 2008 Land Development Desktop CAD, Civil 3D a plus, land development experience a must, PE preferred, project management, Engineer’s Estimates, and SWPPP preparation a plus.  Job Description – Civil Engineer 

• California Licensure, Nevada Desired

• Perform General Civil Engineering services including land development, permitting and construction related services.   Experience in the public and private sectors.

• Prepares plans for and not limited to: grading, utilities, erosion control, best management practices, traffic control, pump systems; parking lots, roadways, driveways, residences, commercial development, subdivisions, condominium development;

• Familiarity with local agencies including and not limited to  TCPUD, NTPUD, IVGID, TDPUD, Town of Truckee, Placer County, Washoe County, TRPA, Lahontan RWQCB, Truckee Sanitary District, Caltrans.

• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D Land Development Software

• Familiar with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and Outlook.

• Familiar with other design software such as WaterCAD, StormCAD and others by Haestead Methods

• Organizational skills and ability to work in a team office environment and team design environments.

• Promotional and Marketing skills desired.  Comfortable as firm representative in public forums and social settings.

• Ability to troubleshoot basic computer related issues and install software when required.
