Curtis Edwards, P.E.
Mr. Edwards is a graduate of the University of California at Davis and is a registered civil engineer in the states of California and Oregon. He has over 34 years of civil engineering experience in the analysis and design of public infrastructure improvements. He is currently a vice president water group team leader at the San Diego office of Psomas, a consulting engineering firm based in Los Angeles with offices in 4 western states.
He is chairman of the American Society of Civil Engineers Earthquake Investigation Committee and as such has documented earthquake damage to infrastructure for the last 25 years. His experience includes earthquakes in California, India, Turkey, Peru, Algeria, Japan, China, Indonesia, Haiti and most recently Calexico/Baja.
This presentation on the Easter Baja earthquake will cover service to CalEMA as a certified disaster worker for tagging of damaged buildings and evaluation of lifelines for ASCE.
